Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier
Average Life Span: 12-14 years
Typical Health Problems: Generally healthy, may be subject
to Parvo, hip displaysia, hereditary cataracts and allergies.
Personality: American Pit Bull Terriers tend to be very
dependent on their humans and crave love and attention.
On average, APBT's tend to be very confident and outgoing dogs. However, their natural confidence can be eroded by severe abuse
or long confinement with little human contact.
I wanted to publish a web site like this just inform everyone of
the American Pit Bull Terrier and dispell all the rumors of this breed of dog. I personally have two of these dogs,
and they are the best dogs I've ever came into contact with. Before you judge these dogs, you should learn about them.
APBT are loving, care for there owners, and are, in my opinion, the most temperamental dogs I've came into contact with.
Maybe this site will educate you a little about the APBT.
